Corporate finance is a subfield of finance that deals with raising capital for businesses and organizations, including issuing securities (stocks or bonds), taking out loans, or analyzing profitability analysis of an enterprise.

Financial planning encompasses an expansive spectrum, from raising capital to making wise investments. Critical components include assessing risk and return, forecasting cash flows and understanding time value of money – an indispensable aspect of any economy and an exhilarating field to be part of.
